Congratulations to Dr. Thisbe K. Lindhorst,
University of Kiel and a former postdoctoral fellow in the Withers Lab (1992-93), who was elected to a two year term as the new president of the German Chemical Society (Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker: GDCh), starting in January 2016. Her research interests concern the biological chemistry of carbohydrates, glycoconjugates and peptides.
